Papermass is a free calculator for the nominal mass of one rectangular paper or cardstock stock, its physical sheet count and a separately entered batch extra.

It is useful for a print run, stationery order or craft batch when you know the sheet dimensions and grammage. Its job is dimensional multiplication, with the assumptions kept visible.

No substituted shortcuts

The tool uses the entered rectangle, retains decimal arithmetic, and does not round the sheet mass before multiplying by the count. Unknown additional material stays unknown.

It does not measure a stock, select a carrier, calculate postage, infer thickness from gsm or convert an unspecified US basis-weight grade.

Free and local

Calculation takes place in your browser without an account or file upload. Optional Copy, Text and CSV actions run locally, and the calculator does not save entries in browser storage.

Publisher metadata prepares this host for a possible later advertising setup. This release has no active advertising, consent-management or analytics loader. It does not establish advertising approval, measured traffic, serving or earnings.
